Syllabus

The Instituto Cervantes has its proper syllabus - Curricular plan- which provides an adequate basis to teach formal and universal Spanish language, respecting the various differences among the Spanish speaking countries. Teaching is done in a flexible way supported by the latest means of technology.

Team of Teachers

The teachers are specialized in the most modern techniques in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Courses

The following courses are given in all Instituto Cervantes’s centers:

• General Spanish language courses, distributed into 4 levels: beginner’s level, intermediate level, advanced and superior levels.
• Special courses such as courses aimed at:
  • Improving specific aspects of the language (writing, reading comprehension, etc.).
  • Teaching Spanish language for specific purposes (Spanish for business, Spanish for professionals from various specialties, etc.).
  • Publicizing Spanish and Latin American culture and civilization.
  • Preparing the student to obtain different levels of the Diploma of Spanish as a foreign language (DELE).
  • The Instituto Cervantes also offers courses of other co-official languages of Spain.

Certificates

Passing each of the four levels that integrate general Spanish language courses – beginner’s level, intermediate, advanced and superior levels – is authorized through a level certificate which recognizes the foreground. Passing special courses is also certified through a similar certificate.

Diplomas

The Instituto Cervantes administers tests for the Diploma of Spanish as a foreign language (DELE) issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. There are six levels:

• DELE diploma: A1 level.
• DELE diploma: A2 level.
• DELE diploma: B1 level.
• DELE diploma: B2 level.
• DELE diploma: C1 level.
• DELE diploma: C2 level.

From Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 15:30 to 18:00.
