Registration period starts 3 weeks before beginning the courses in autumn, winter and spring periods. In the summer period, the registration starts 10 days before beginning the courses.
New students who have prior knowledge in Spanish language will have to take a placement test to determine their level, whereas, former students will be enrolled automatically in the next course.
The registration always takes place at the centre’s secretary office. The registration procedure of special courses is identical to that of general courses.

The payment of the course should always be in cash or cheque. Payment via credit cards is not allowed.
Remember that the registration is subject to the following conditions:
General (Regular) morning and afternoon classes are given to a minimum number of 8 students, evening classes to a minimum number of 7 students and special courses to a minimum number of 7 students.
If the student is fit to one or more of the requirements to obtain discounts on the price of a course, he/she will have to inform the secretary when registering for that course. It is not possible to get a discount after registering for a course and neither to accumulate more than 20% of discounts.
In order to register for a special course, a student must follow the same procedures of registering for a regular course.
In order to register for the AVE courses, a student must follow the same procedures of registering for regular courses. Broadband and a PC is needed to complete the course (AVE is not compatible with Macintosh).
Prices of the AVE courses for this semester are as following:

Licence for 1 course-15 weeks: 60 JD.
The registration will not be considered valid until all the documentation needed and the fees of the examination are presented to the Instituto Cervantes.
The prices of the examination for the year 2013 are as following:
All students who are registered in a course in the Instituto Cervantes will benefit from a 20% discount on the examination fees. Candidates, who happen to study Spanish language in any Jordanian university, will benefit from a 10% discount on the examination fees. Both discounts cannot be accumulated.

The registration form can be either obtained in the Instituto Cervantes in Amman or downloaded from here: registration form (PDF). There are two copies; both copies should be filled and submitted to the Instituto Cervantes in Amman.
A photocopy of an identification document accompanied with a personal picture, containing the following data: identity, nationality, place and date of birth. The data reported by the candidate in the registration form must correspond with the data in the identification document.
If you hold a nationality of a country where Spanish is the official language, you should submit a signed declaration completing at least two of the cases described in the second part of the section “General Conditions”.

As soon as the candidate is registered, he/she will be given a sealed copy of his/her registration form which contains the code assigned for him/her, and an e-mail will be sent to the candidate with the official notification of the examination including location, date and time of sitting for the examination.
The centre informs teachers and institutions dedicated to teaching Spanish as a foreign language about programming various training courses.
Teachers interested in attending for the first time should submit their updated C.V. to the Instituto Cervantes in Amman. The payment should be made 2 days before the beginning of the course. Training work-shops done by publishers are for free.
