Placement Test

This test is mandatory for new Instituto Cervantes students who have prior knowledge in Spanish language or former students who haven’t registered in any course in Instituto for four months or more.

The test consists of 3 parts:

• One writing part where the student should fill the blanks of some sentences or brief texts with the suitable word or answer multiple choice questions.
• A composition.
• A 5-minute oral interview.

Time and duration of the test

The date of completion of the placement test is fixed for each of the course periods. Dates can be viewed in the “Academic Calendar” page.

Results

Results are reported the same day or the day after the test, depending on the time of the test.

Rights of the test

The registration must be formalized until one day before the completion of the placement test. The registration fees of the placement test is 10 JD.
